Pawling Rotary’s Fall Fest 2025 Happening on September 27th at Lakeside!
If you were one of the 861 community members (sorry…we lost count after that!) who visited the Rotary Fall Fest last year, then you know about all the fun that families, adults, and children had at this annual event. Well, this year Rotary, along with its partner Pawling Recreation, promises to bring back all your favorite activities and then some!
As a very special treat, Rock Hill Farm’s fabulous draft horses will be pulling their charming buggy at the Fest this year! If you have ever seen them prancing around town, now will be your chance to hitch a ride!
The barbecue will be sizzling from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and there will be adorable animals for petting, games for playing, prizes for winning and great music for listening…and for dancing (why not!?).
Rotary raffles are always worth a look and a chance, and Happy Life Animal Rescue will once again bring their pups and sweet adoptables for everyone to fawn over and maybe even take home! There will be lots of activities that involve painting (face, T-shirt and pumpkin)! There will be lacrosse playing and a bouncy house for…well…bouncing, and the Hay Maze promises to be a-MAZE-ing! The Great Pumpkin will also make its grand appearance, once again, for family or friend photo ops…We’ll even have someone on hand to snap the pic for you so that everyone important is included in the shot.
And…If you are wondering if Cow Chip Bingo is happening again this year…well, it is! Tickets are on sale now, so you could win $1,000 if you pick the winning square where the chip falls! Check out the Rotary website (pawlingrotary.org) for information about how you can pre-purchase your ticket(s), or email Stefan Gramenz at pawlingrotaryclub@gmail.com!
The Pawling Rotary Fall Fest has become a community-wide event that brings a lot of happy, smiling faces together for a fun-filled afternoon, as the club raises dollars for organizations that support Pawling kids. This year, the Rotary Fall Fest is being planned and organized by Rotarians Chris Fisher and Laurie Spens. Chris shared, “The Fall Fest is such an inspiring community event that gives back twofold. It’s so rewarding to see how much the children enjoy the day. After all, it’s for them! And then, because of Fall Fest and the funds it helps us raise, Pawling Rotary is able to give back to organizations in town that support those kids. It’s really a wonderful way for all of us to truly live the Rotary motto, Service Above Self.” Admission is free and the merriment begins at 11:00…rain or shine…on the grounds of the Lathrop Center in Lakeside Park. So come early and stay for all the fun! You’re gonna have a great time!!
