About the Interact Club

The Interact Club of Pawling is a community service club for Pawling High School students, sponsored as a partnership between Pawling Rotary and Pawling Recreation. It is a self-governing club, meaning the meetings and projects are organized by the club members. The 50+ members attend weekly meeings, volunteer at community events, and organize fundraisers for local and international organizations. Since February of 2011, the Interact Club has raised over $25,000 for international organizations, local projects, and local senior scholarships.

Some of their annual fundraisers include the Pancake Breakfast to support Shelterbox, as well as the Ryan’s Foundation Dodgeball Tournament. With the completion of their 2013 project, “Walking In Their Honor,” they donated $1,500 to “The Sandy Ground Project—Where Angels Play” and $375 to the Pawling Fire Department. Their most recent fundraiser, “For the Loev of Ruth Rowe Walk/5k” raised $12,000 that will be given in the form of $1,000 graduating senior scholarships in memory of Pawling School District’s beloved teacher, Ruth Rowe.

The Interact Club of Pawling is sponsored by the Pawling Recreation Department and the Pawling Rotary Club.
