I am writing to extend my deepest and most sincere gratitude to you for sponsoring my attendance at the RYLA leadership conference. I truly cannot thank you enough for giving me the opportunity to participate in such an inspiring, transformative, and life-changing experience.

RYLA was far more than just a leadership conference it was truly a journey of self-discovery, growth, and connection. I not only learned practical leadership skills, but I also learned so much about who I am as a leader and as a person. I gained so much confidence, and realized how much of a meaningful impact I can make on those around me! My favorite activity during RYLA was finding out what color leader I am. I found out that I was a blue leader meaning that I am very analytical! I learned that through my analytical skills as a leader I can lead people to make calculated and precise decisions!

The environment at RYLA was so uplifting, empowering, and with people so passionate about interest very similar to mine! Being part of a community that encouraged growth, vulnerability, and collaboration really helped me step out of my comfort zone and embrace my potential. I’ve come away from RYLA with a new sense of purpose, stronger communication skills, and a deeper understanding of the kind of leader I want to be. 

This unforgettable experience would not have been possible without your generous support. I am so incredibly grateful to you all for investing in young leaders like me. Your belief in youth leadership development has made a powerful difference in my life, and I carry this experience forward with a deep sense of appreciation and responsibility.

Hello! My name is Jessica Sisalima, and I am going into my Junior year at Pawling High School. I am reaching out to thank you again for sponsoring me to go to RYLA 2025. I had a fantastic time, at RYLA I met so many amazing people who I connected with and made friends with, some of whom I am still talking too! I also learned amazing values of leadership, positivity, and self-worth. At RYLA I was truly able to be myself without fear of being judged because I just felt so seen. The environment created at RYLA is unmatched on its scale of inclusivity and positivity. We did so many amazing and fun things, and I truly hope the people sponsored this coming session have the same experience I did! I went into RYLA nervous and unsure, but when I left the campus I felt filled with a new sense of leadership, bravery, and courage. So, thank you so much again for sponsoring me to go!
