Pawling Rotary to Honor Susan Stone at Its 13^th Annual Golf Outing on June 2^nd

In recognition of her far-reaching contributions to the Pawling community and for her exceptional and unwavering commitment to the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self,” the members of the Pawling Rotary Club are proud to name Susan Stone as their honoree at the 13th Annual Golf Outing and Dinner on June 2nd at the Quaker Hill Country Club.

Proceeds from this fundraising event will support the many educational and youth-centered programs supported by Rotary that benefit Pawling’s children, including the Roger Smith-Pawling Rotary College Scholarship Program, Interact Club of Pawling, R.Y.L.A. Youth Leadership Conference, the annual donation of dictionaries to third graders in Pawling’s public and private schools, children’s and teen programming at the Pawling Library, the Smith Johnson Scout Reservation, and scholarships for disadvantaged children in Pawling Recreation’s after-school and camp programs.

Sponsorships are available. Event sponsorship is $1,000.00, with sponsors highlighted on the cover of the commemorative journal along with a free full-page ad. Individual hole sponsorship is also available. Past hole sponsors may sponsor one or more holes again for $125.00, with designated signage at each sponsored hole. New hole sponsorship with signage is $150.00. Sponsorship of lunch, beverage cart or dinner is $500.00 each, with support highlighted in the journal as well as an included half-page ad.Messages of congratulation to Susan in the tribute journal, and reservations for other ad space, are available. Pawling’s golfers are encouraged to reserve foursomes early, as a limited number are available. The outing gets underway at noon on Monday, June 2nd with registration and lunch from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Shotgun start time will be at 1:00 p.m. As in previous years, golfing will be a scramble format and the fee is $250.00 per golfer, which includes a day on the links with golf cart, lunch, and dinner. Prizes for the day’s golfing achievements on the course will be awarded during dinner. Dinner without golfing, for community members who wish to join the festivities later in the day when Susan will be honored, will be available for $90.00.
